Friends of Romiley Park are a volunteer group dedicated to improving the appearance and facilities of Romiley Park and have already helped to make a number of improvements. Take a look at the Projects section and see if you can remember what the park used to look like.

On 12 January 1910 John Hodgson Howe of Norfolk House, Denton sold a parcel of land to Bredbury and Romiley Urban District Council for the purposes of section 164 of the Public Health Act 1875 (q.v.) (The price was £3035.3s.9d).
